| The Good Drugs Guide |
| Government and general health sites have a tendency to emphasize the dangers of drug use. We can see where they're coming from. They believe that presenting anything but the negative effects of drugs is tantamount to encouraging their use. Also, creating fear of drugs is an classic, ‘old school’ tactic to discourage experimentation. And, politically, appearing to be ‘soft’ on drugs is not the done thing.
Our goal is present balanced information, on a substance by substance basis, neither biased for or against. We are constantly updating and rewriting our guides to attain that goal. If the hazards of a particular drug are not emphasized on our site, it's probably because they are minor to non-existent. It is certainly not because we wish to de-emphasize them.

| blue honey - The Infinite Mushroom |
| Bluehoney.org is dedicated to anyone interested in "inner-space exploration". A deeper understanding of Self and reality via sacred plants is not a new concept, it is a surprisingly archaic concept. Mankind’s history of ceremonial plant usage has been documented in thousands of books and papers and this information is spreading like wildfire. Why was it so important for the Native Americans to fight for their rights to use Peyote in their ceremonies? Because they know that the usage of sacred plants provides a natural connection to the sprit world, and that is worth fighting for. Although this website contains articles and information regarding many sacred plants (including cactus, salvia, DMT, and others), this website focuses primarily on sacred mushrooms and philosophy that they engender. | Documents on Al Hubbard: The Johnny Appleseed of LSD |
This is the website dedicated to the study of Captain Al Hubbard. Here is a bit from the site. For such a pivotal character in recent history, Al Hubbard is remarkably little known. He is the unsung man who almost single-handedly introduced the world to LSD, as well as (to a lesser degree) mescaline and psilocybin. Albert Hoffman may have invented LSD, but Hubbard is the one who, in the very early years, gave it away like candy to some of the most influential people on the planet.
A true cipher, Hubbard was visionary, eccentric, friendly, and mysterious. At various times, he was an intelligence agent, an inventor, a millionaire, a clinical therapist, and more. There appear to be links between Hubbard and MKULTRA, the CIA program that researched behavior modification using LSD and other substances and techniques.

| The Entheogen Review |
|
The Entheogen Review is a quarterly publication that serves as a clearinghouse for current data about the use of visionary plants and drugs. All communications are kept in the strictest confidence--unless otherwise requested, published material is identified only by the author's initials and state of residence. The mailing list is not for sale, rent, or loan. Think of The Entheogen Review as a network newsletter; the voice of a community of subscribers seeking and sharing information on the cultivation, extraction, and ritual use of entheogens. Subjective results experienced by readers are published too. The Entheogen Review is dedicated to bringing you the latest, most accurate and novel data possible on these and related topics--information you cannot find anywhere else! Edited by David Aardvark and K. Trout. (47.00) |
| Psychedelic Drugs and Kundalini by Donald J. DeGracia, Ph.D |
| The purpose of this web site is to compare the effects of psychedelic drugs to the effects of what is called in the Tantric and Occult literature "awakening of the kundalini".
The comparison will be carried out in two ways. First, an abbreviated review of the literature on both psychedelic drugs and kundalini awakening will be presented. When these two literatures are placed side by side, it becomes much more apparent that there is a significant overlap between the effects of psychedelic drugs and the effects of awakened kundalini.
Second, I will present results from a survey I performed designed to compare the effects of psychedelic drugs and kundalini awakening. The survey questioned psychedelic drug users about the nature of their psychedelic drug experiences. The complete results of the survey are presented in the Results Section of this site. It is very instructive to read the responses given to the survey questions and recognize that descriptions of psychedelic drug experiences are, in many respects, indistinguishable from reports of kundalini awakening.
